(inter)Generations: A Playwriting Program
This fall, BETC features a new education initiative!
High school students and older adults 50+ applied to take part in a free ten-session playwriting program. Selected students learned about the basic building blocks of script writing, interviewed one another, and created short plays inspired by one another’s life experiences. At the end of each session, readings of these plays will be performed by BETC actors for the public.
Readings of the students’ plays will be streamed online for the public:
Monday/Wednesday class readings: Saturday, October 24 @ 2 p.m.
Tuesday/Thursday class readings: Sunday, October 25@ 2 p.m.
Watch this space for more details on plays to be featured each day, coming soon!
