(inter)Generations: A Playwriting Program
This fall, BETC begins a new education initiative.
High school students and older adults 50+ will apply to take part in a free ten-session playwriting program. Selected students will learn about the basic building blocks of script writing, interview one another, and create short plays inspired by one another’s life experiences. At the end of each session, readings of these plays will be performed by BETC actors for the public.
Readings of the students’ plays will be streamed online for the public over the weekend of October 23-25, 2020. Watch this space for more details on times and plays to be featured each day, coming soon!
Fall classes will begin the week of September 21.
