Caryl Field (Board Member) was born and raised in New York City. She was introduced to the performing arts at a young age by theater-loving parents. She saw her first musical, “The Sound of Music” starring Mary Martin at the age of five, and has been a passionate fan ever since. Caryl attended the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Psychology, and also met her husband, Ken. After a brief stint in the business world, Caryl began a career in fitness, achieving certifications in Personal Training, Nutrition and Yoga, and has taught group and private classes in a variety of settings. She retired several years ago and has devoted much of her time to supporting the theater as an enthusiastic audience member and as a Patron of several not for profit theater companies. She also served as a board member of BEDLAM Theater Company.
Caryl and Ken relocated to Longmont, Colorado in August of 2021 in order to live closer to their only child and her family. Caryl is delighted to have found a theater company as vibrant, talented and creative as BETC, and she is looking forward to helping the organization grow and thrive in the future.
