Kate Hertz

Kate Hertz (Writers Group) is so thankful for the experience of being a BETC Writers Group member! They want to express their gratitude to Heather and the other group members for pushing them to write something they’re super proud of. Kate is a Colorado Springs actor, playwright, mixed media artist, bass guitarist, and Springs Ensemble Theatre (SET) member. Kate’s work has been produced at Springs Ensemble Theatre (Holly Jolly Holy Sh!t), Pikes Peak State College (Mary Mother of God, In Medusa’s Garden, and White Elephant), and Side Street Studio Arts in Elgin, IL (Another Day With the Bensons). As an actor, they’ve performed with SET (Morse in One Flea Spare), Theatreworks (Puppeteer in Snowy Tales), Theatre Across Borders (Kinetic Kate in Push, Pull, Split, Spin), WYNOT Productions (Christmas Eve in Avenue Q), the Iron Springs Chateau (Columbia in Rocky Horror), and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (Business Man in Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus). They’re so glad you’re here and hope you enjoy G is for Grief! When not writing, Kate is performing, creating visual art, and proudly serving as the Engagement Coordinator at the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region.
