Rebecca Remaly (Managing Director; Ensemble Member) is a proud BETC co-founder. Directing credits with BETC include the world premiere of Morisot Reclining (Henry Award Nomination, Best New Play 2009), The Wolves, Pride and Prejudice, Going to a Place Where You Already Are, Ripcord, Cyrano, Outside Mullingar, The Aliens, Annapurna, An Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf, Copenhagen, and Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. Sometimes an actor, Rebecca appeared in the BETC productions The Revolutionists, Stupid F##king Bird, Doubt, Stop Kiss, The Glass Menagerie, and Antigone. Rebecca has also worked with Curious Theatre Company (Hannah in the rolling world premiere of Collapse), Huntington Theatre Company, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, George Street Playhouse, Manhattan Theatre Club, and Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. Rebecca is a three-time True West Award recipient, the winner (along with her husband and partner Stephen Weitz) of the Boulder Flatirons Rotary 2017 Sparkplug Award; and the 2016 recipient of the Emerging Professional Award from the National Theatre Conference.
