Alaina Beth Reel (Writers Group) is an actor, musician, teacher, writer, and director with a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa, currently living in Albuquerque, NM. Colorado credits include productions with DCPA, Curious Theatre Company, the Catamounts, BETC, Town Hall Arts Center, Miners Alley Playhouse, Gravity Defied Theatre Company, and others. Favorite regional acting credits include The 39 Steps (Annabella/Margaret/Pamela), You On the Moors Now (Jo March), and Orlando (Orlando). Writing credits include films “Rawadawa” and “Premonition,” TV series “The Magic Clock,” original cabaret Consent is Sexy, and adaptations of Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Sleeping Beauty for TYA. She has taught many seasons of playwriting and development for young artists (Miners Alley Playhouse, StoryQuest Studios), and firmly believes that each person has a story to tell. She is currently developing a solo musical, 100 Dates, based on very true and current events.
