About the event
Since 2010, Coloradans have come together to make the extraordinary happen. It’s more than just a day. It’s a movement that inspires and unites thousands of donors to give where they live and support local nonprofits. We invite you to support BETC on Dec. 6 and our mission to bring great theatre to Colorado.
Giving
Whatever you give, thank you. Whether it’s $5 or $1000, every gift is meaningful in bringing great theatre to Colorado. You can schedule your gift beginning Nov. 1.
Give on Dec. 6 to maximize your contribution to BETC through the Colorado Gives Day $1 Million+ Incentive Fund (more information below).
Schedule
Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 and lasts 24 hours starting at 12 a.m.
FAQs
What is Colorado Gives Day?
Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Community First Foundation and First Bank are proud to partner to power the day through ColoradoGives.org.
Must I use ColoradoGives.org to make my donations on Colorado Gives Day?
Yes, ColoradoGives.org is the official online donation website for Colorado Gives Day. When you use the site to donate to participating nonprofits, your donation is boosted by the $1 Million Incentive Fund and counts towards prizes for nonprofits.
What is the minimum donation?
$5
Are there any fees for making donations through ColoradoGives.org?
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when donors make online gifts to nonprofit organizations. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program’s long-term sustainability. The two percent third-party processing fee is one of the lowest in the country and the most cost-effective way to fundraise online. This fee applies year-round, including Colorado Gives Day.
Can I use my employer’s matching gifts program?
Yes. Please ask your employer to send the matching funds directly to the nonprofit(s) you are supporting and not to Community First Foundation.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. All donations made to the 501(c)(3) charities featured on ColoradoGives.org are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law. After making a donation, you will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgment letter. A copy of that letter will also be emailed to you.
$1 Million+ Incentive Fund
This year’s $1 Million+ Incentive Fund is made possible by Community First Foundation, FirstBank, and other community members. It increases the donation proportionally and is one of the largest in the country!
