“A show of deep feeling and satisfying simplicity.” – Los Angeles Times
This beautiful, heart-wrenching play details the period when Strayed worked as the popular online advice columnist Sugar. Drawing from her personal experiences, Strayed wrote the “Dear Sugar” column to help those seeking guidance for obstacles both large and small. Tiny Beautiful Things is a play about reaching when you’re stuck, healing when you’re broken, and finding the courage to take on the questions that have no answers.
Note: This play contains mature content. At BETC, we recognize that not everyone likes to be surprised, and we acknowledge that some may be negatively triggered by certain conversations, themes, or actions. Therefore, we are providing comprehensive synopses of each play. Please note, these synopses contain spoilers! Read the synopses.
